Roxburgh Rambling

Despite the grey skies ,around 3 dozen members headed down to Roxburgh area for a walk or run. The bus went down to Roxburgh township ,over the bridge and then kicked a dozen or so walkers off the bus and told them if they wanted a ride back ,they would need to walk up to the carpark below the Roxburgh dam

Just before the dam another half dozen or so got off to walk  the commissioners track. The remaining members set off for a walk in the  Lake Roxburgh area or up the Lake Roxburgh track. There were a couple of spots of moisture that didn’t come to anything , just cloudy skies . So everyone was back in time for that welcome cuppa.

This Saturday is our final outing for 2019. Please make your way to the Ice Inline carpark at 11:00am. Please park at the Ice rink carpark , not the bowling club car park as there will be bowls happening .

For those interested there will be  a local ,walk or run from the car park.  For those keen to get on their bike, meet at 11am also and rumour has it a café coffee stop may be organised for this ride.

Hopefully everyone  will be back by about 1pm. The Lions will be cooking up a storm and hopefully will feed us  between 1:00 – 1:30pm at the Bowling Club.

If you have not already booked your place , you could be in for a mauling from the big cats. Any last minute changes ,you should contact one of the more compact cats ,

Barrie Hood on 021 445 918 to arrange being fed. By the time you get this email you also should have paid for your lunch $25 per person to 031733 0004935 00

Hopefully  we can arrange some sunshine ,so hope to see you all there.
