Boring Blossom Festival and Logs of Wood

Hope you all enjoyed the blossom festival and getting out of Covid level 2 restrictions .

Due to a lack of photos this week ,I thought I would get you guessing from which years the attached pics are from.

I see one of our members has been doing a bit of weightlifting ,trying to make off with a large piece of silverware (see attached photo )

By Saturday we will be in October and fast approaching the end of the 2020 harrier season. What a year it has been.

The plan for Saturday 3 October is to go to Bendigo to wander around Welshtown and Logantown areas. This will be a 12:30pm start and we will car pool up there, meet corner Walton & Thompson streets. Barrie will collect $5 off you,( like for the  bus and raffle) and the club will direct credit payment to the car driver’s bank account. Last chance for the A-Ls to show off their baking skills as duty pack this week

The following Saturday 10 October will be a bus mystery trip ,also departing  12:30pm. Hope someone knows where we are  going, as rumour has it even the bus driver will be blindfolded .

Closing day will then be 17 October with the Lions club  Catering lunch at the Alex Bowling club at a cost of $25 per person

Payment can be made to the club’s bank account by 13 October  031733 0004935 00.

The weather forecast for Saturday is for a shower in the afternoon so may pay to bring a jacket. Due to work commitments I will not be there, so hopefully some spies will report back to me.

Will see you on the 10th .
