he runners took in the terrace area towards Clyde whilst the faster runners explored some sheep tracks further up the ridge, deciding that if they were the same height as sheep, the run would have been much easier.
The W1s & W2s walking packs started off down the road this year instead of up the road. Just where they ended up I’m not certain, possibly up to a trig station. I did hear rumours about W1 pack leader Allen Hansen being as bad as Peter Dymock, leading us up bloody steep hills. Well done Al and I think what got them muttering was you didn’t appear to be sweating when you got up those hills.
The W3s heading up the road and explored some of the lower levels of Waikerikeri mountain.
