Nearly 40 members car pooled out to the Lower Manorburn near the rail trail river crossing. Club Captain Barb told everyone to be back by 3pm, 3:15 at the latest - do not be late back.
So I guess we will not mention what time Barb’s walking group got back.
The W3s headed round to the dam for a quick skate, but the ice was not thick enough so they had to stick to walking.
The remaining walkers and runners took in various tracks, from the white sand quarry, old coach road, Indian valley and probably several other unnamed tracks. We did get high enough to spot the sun shining on Leaning rock at one stage, before descending under the cloud once more.
