Autumn in Arrowtown

Well  it would seem the local weather god has been too good lately, another wonderful autumn day on Saturday for a wander through the colourful trees around Arrowtown , but again a small turnout. Everyone obviously making good use of the weather before coming back to Harriers.

The runners and W1 walkers all took in a loop around Robins track, whilst the W2s got off at the Arrow junction and walked in along the new bike trail. They then looped round the Chinese settlement before completing some retail therapy. The W3  walking group took in the river track  loop.

And it was great to hear that one group kept up the fine tradition of being late back to the bus. Led by none other than club president Ewan , they claimed that the times posted on the signposts were wrong. Fortunately it was a great day and no great hardship to await their return.
