Harriers Final Outing

From just 24 the previous week at Bendigo, this Saturday saw about 60 members turn up at Como Villa for lunch. Probably about 30 members turned up at 11am for a walk over the tailings or a run up the river track.

Although there were not a lot indicating they were going to head out on their mountain bikes , about  2 dozen bikers appeared coming from all directions in time for lunch.

The lions cooked up a fine meal  - baked ham, roast veges and salads and chocolate brownie, berries and ice cream for desert.

Early morning rain had improved to cloudy skies for the walk and by the time lunch was over blue skies and sunshine was back. And Barrie got rid of his leftover prizes with a free multi-draw raffle.

And I think ( Arkright ) Johnny Chapman was happy selling a few glasses of wine during the lunch, setting the till ringing.
