Just one car load made the trip to Bendigo at 10am to walk the Kanuka Track
They were back at the billy for afternoon tea at 3pm, finding the timing was right this year, with no rushed feeling to get back on time.
After having an overflowing bus the previous week at Gibbston, this week we would have struggled to half full it , with just 2 dozen members turning up for afternoon tea at Welshtown.
Runners were also in short supply, so Steve and Gary promoted themselves into the A running pack of two. They and the other walkers took in the Bendigo tracks, including parts of the Kanuka track, the Auoroa track, as well as Waltzing past Matilda, the number one or two shafts, as well as the local blacksmith .
