Nutritious Northburn

There wasn’t a whole lot of sunshine in Alexandra last Saturday so around 40 members jumped on the bus in the hope the sun would be shining at Northburn , just north of Cromwell. So it was a bit disappointing to be under cloud all the way ,sunshine hinting in the distance.

Most of the runners headed up the hill  in the hope they would break into sunshine. Instead they broke into cloud so headed back down the gully to the vineyard and returned. The walkers split into 2 groups , taking similar pathways but in opposite directions, with the W1 group heading a bit further up the hill before dropping back down.  All groups were back in time for that welcome cuppa , with the sun trying very hard to join us.

Now that the new website is working we’d like to include some of your excellent photos in the gallery, see https://www.alexharriers.co.nz/gallery/ for some examples so far.  If you have some photos that you’d like to see on the website then email them to photos@alexharriers.co.nz . The photo files need to be around 2 Mb in size, or a bit larger, otherwise they become pixelated on some computers.

The committee would also like feedback on the new web site ,good, bad ,ideas of what you would like to see on the website .
