Pinders Pond

Spring had definitely sprung with a warm, blue-sky day on Saturday as about 3 dozen walkers and runners ventured down to Pinders Pond, downstream from Roxburgh.

The walking groups all decided to head downstream on the Clutha Gold Trail towards Millers Flat, whilst the runners headed upstream towards Roxburgh.

One group of runners crossed the bridge, then ran around the top of the hill above the Health Camp, before heading back to Pinders Pond.

The walking groups also did a trip downriver for about 40 minutes or so, before heading back. Despite Jo suggesting everyone should bring their togs, I did not witness any members brave enough for a swim in Pinders Pond, although I did see a kid who had ventured out for a swim.
