About 50 members turned up for a walk or run in the gold mining area of Matakanui.
Photos this week show the blokes in the W3 walking group inspecting some old mining equipment, apparently the shelias in the group were not that interested.
There seemed to be a big group in the W2s and although they claimed to be fence climbing champions there were no sign of fences in the photo submitted.
Just 4 runners this week, 2 headed up the hills whilst the other 2 went up the creek, spotting some mountain goats in the hills above.
Which brings us to Peter leading the W1s this week and from the photo supplied, looked like they were heading into mountain goat territory.
Everyone was back in time for a welcome cuppa and found the temperature back in Alex about double what it was at Matakanui.
