8 October - Roxburgh Hydro Village
On Saturday about 40 runners and walkers got a real boot out of kicking round the Roxburgh Hydro dam area. I have heard the runners were gambolling with the lambs up on the Bullock track, whereas the walkers had more sense and charged off onto the local tracks by the dam. The run up the track must have fried Ruperts’s brain cells (or was it the nearby substation) , as rumour has it he got changed in the car park under a towel. And there was the toilet building with plenty of room inside just 10 metres away. John supposedly jumped Rose because her battery was flat , I hope we were talking cars here.
